Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Corona Hands-On Therapy ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or contact us through it. It applies to this website only. How we handle your health information as a patient is described in our separate Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA, which is available at our front desk or by request.
1. Information you give us
When you use a form on this website, we collect the information you choose to provide:
- Appointment and contact requests: your name, phone number, email address, the type of case (such as an auto, work, or home injury), the service you are interested in, preferred dates or times, and any notes you add.
- Job applications: your contact details, the position you are interested in, and the resume you attach.
- Messages you send us by phone, text, email, or WhatsApp.
2. Please don't send detailed medical information online
Our website forms are meant for requesting appointments and asking general questions. Please do not include detailed medical history, diagnoses, or insurance member numbers in a form or in the chat. Our team will collect that information securely during your visit or by phone.
3. Information that stays on your device
- Virtual assistant (chat): your conversation is kept only in your browser for the current session, so it isn't lost when you close the chat window. It is not sent to our servers and is erased when you close the browser tab.
- "Find your care" questionnaire: your answers are used only to show suggestions on your screen. They are not saved, sent to us, or shared with advertising or analytics tools.
- Language preference: we remember whether you chose English or Spanish so the site opens in that language next time.
4. Information collected automatically
We use the Google tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to understand how visitors use our website and to measure our advertising. Google may collect information such as the pages you visit, how you reached our site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location, and may use cookies or similar technologies to do so. Google's use of this information is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
5. How we use information
- Respond to your questions and appointment requests, and contact you about them.
- Coordinate scheduling and verify insurance coverage when you become a patient.
- Review job applications.
- Keep our website secure and working properly.
- Understand how our website is used and measure the performance of our advertising.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. How we protect information
Information submitted through our website forms is encrypted and stored on a secured server, and it is delivered to our office by email so our team can respond. Access is limited to staff who need it to help you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
7. When we share information
We share information only as needed to operate our website and serve you:
- With service providers that host our website, deliver our email, and provide analytics and advertising measurement. They may use it only to provide those services.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our patients, staff, or others.
- If you choose to contact us through WhatsApp or another third-party app, that service's own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of it.
8. Cookies and your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although some measurement features may not.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and manage ad personalization in your Google account's ad settings.
- You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by phone, by email, or by replying to our message.
9. How long we keep information
We keep information submitted through the website only as long as needed to respond to your request, manage the resulting care or application, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Information that becomes part of your medical record is kept as required by law.
10. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you submitted through our website by contacting us using the details below. As a patient, you also have rights over your health information, which are explained in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
11. Children's privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. A parent or guardian should contact us to request care for a minor.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
